Many of the other samples had a stage photograph taken one week after initial application. For complicated reasions involving lack of time, necessity to help with care of grandchildren, and general incompetence, this product was accidentally missed out.
Summary:
Application:
1st coat: Orangey-brown tea-like thin liquid with very faint odour and slow penetration of substrate. Barely detectable when dry.
2nd coat: Great coverage but slow to take.
Comments:
It's not clear what, if anything, this product has done. There's no enhancement of colour; there's a hint of a tea-like discolouration, but that could be environmental (tannins from the leaves of a nearby oak tree?); and there's little sign of the stone being cleaner than would be expected after a winter in the open.
It certainly doesn't live up to the promises on the packaging!

This is shocking. There doesn;t appear to be any stain protection whatsoever!
All four contaminants have left permanent stains and the mosskiller has totally discoloured the treated side of the stone sample.
More worryingly, the wine stain placed onto the untreated right-hand edge of the sample stone doesn't lok any worse than those on the treated areas.
No colour improvement; no stain protection; what has this product actually done? Ultimately: nothing.
Note: Any apparent variation in colour of the flagstone is due solely to changes in the condition of the natural daylight at the time the photograph was taken.
Other than cropping to exclude extraneous background and adding a drop shadow to the cropped image, there has been NO post-processing of the original photographs.
