Posted by Tony McC on 16 Dec. 2018,14:21You're more than welcome - a nosey around your "Sheds of Wonder" was one of my highlights of 2018
Posted by seanandruby on 16 Dec. 2018,17:55Same to you Dylan Tony and brewers. Did i hear shed!!! I love sorting through abandoned sheds, in my element. Tony you would be in awe of mine

The road lamp is still with the powder coater. I keep meaning to call in and collect but they are on a severely busy junction, with very restricted parking (you're supposed to park in the old church 300m up the lane, but I can't be arsed) and I keep thinking I'll do it next time, when it'll be quieter.....except it never bloody is!
That's a job for the xmas break, I reckon!

You want to lay off that land-bound paddling - either do it on a proper lake or sack it off!
Posted by digerjones on 19 Dec. 2018,23:18
Your going to devalue it then. It will loose all of it's patina and character. Shame on you
Posted by lutonlagerlout on 20 Dec. 2018,16:11haha nothing to do with 35 years of back breaking work
its a reality check for me as good as I feel (down to 14 stone now) the reality is I am 50 and need to curb my enthusiasm a little bit,Like a lot of blokes i find it hard to let go of the practical side of things, the consultant has told me 6 weeks with zero strenuous activity, so at least this way I knock the first fortnight off at xmas . are you all good now Sean?
Posted by john on 20 Dec. 2018,21:14I think it was all the rowing Tony
Posted by seanandruby on 20 Dec. 2018,22:49Yes thanks, back at work now. Was in a baaad place. Trams' and morphine helped
Posted by lutonlagerlout on 21 Dec. 2018,11:33John the rowing certainly didnt help, but if you want to win stuff you have to try hard, the consultant said people get them doing arm wrestling, digging the garden its just a condition that some get and some dont
trama-dolls and morphine cant wait Sean
Posted by michaelthegardener on 23 Dec. 2018,14:55i got a hernia tripping while carrying a small step ladder and the hedge cutter the blade hit the floor an the handle got me in the groin!
Merry Christmas everyone
Posted by seanandruby on 24 Dec. 2018,01:31L S D Tripping, haven't been there for a while. Hope your manhood not damaged
Posted by lutonlagerlout on 24 Dec. 2018,15:25so friday was the op
plenty of trama-dolls Fent-anyl and morph
there was a complication after which required a haematoma to be evacuated, (Basically a big swelling they had to open up and blood - my blood pishing everywhere)
so got home saturday and thought thank feck thats done
OMG had a look at the family jewels yesterday and there is what you could call swelling and discolouration.
spoke to the hospital and they said it will subside
hopefully 6 weeks and will be fighting fit again
cheers and a merry xmas All
Posted by seanandruby on 24 Dec. 2018,19:06... LLL that story is a load of bollocks
Good luck, hope you mend up soon m8 you'll have to leave the missus alone. At least you have a big SACK for Santa.
Merry Xmas to you and fambly.
Posted by Tony McC on 25 Dec. 2018,09:06This is what happens as we age....more and more bits fall off or stop working. And to think we couldn't wait to grow up!
I'm recently on a slow-release morphine patch with bonus peardrops as needed, so I daren't even have a drink this xmas. Instead, I shall devote my time to the inner workings of the new Brew Cabin which should be with us in a couple of months.
Merry Christmas to all you stalwart Brew Cabin Irregulars!
Posted by Dave_L on 25 Dec. 2018,10:44Get well soon Tony, hope the ol' jewels soon settle down!
