also whats the best 2 part jointing compound to use when its cold?

The good 2-part resin mortars all need 3C and rising as a minimum, but the jointing can wait until we have a couple of warmer days, if necessary. THe VDW 850+ is, IMHO, the best 2-part mortar on the market just now - Read More - and by quite some way!
