Hi there

My first post here. Kicking myself as it looks like I've made what looks like one of the common mistakes when applying impregnating sealer to limestone (not the black stuff, light grey-brown).

I thought my flags were fully dry but after applying the sealer last night they are totally blotchy. Looks like residual water is trapped in the stone.

The owner of this site suggests xylene/equivalent solvent as a possible solution. Has anyone ever used this or had a similar challenge?

Really appreciate any advice.

Thanks, Jack

Can you post a photo of the paving?
