Just wondered people's views on nailing it up ..
First Fix nailer for the ring nails and better hold...
Or 2nd fix for a less noticeable finish??

I use a pneumatic coil nailer, fires 45mm ring nails. Forget paslode, far too expensive use of nails, you have to reload it to often

Cool thanks for quick reply .. so that's something more 1st fix size not pins ..
Iv seen people using both , but i just use the tools supplied .. can't tell the bloke I work with anything :rock:

Always thought proper ring nails be best .. doing this job for myself and want it to last! Lol

I see a lot of fencers jut using nails and a hammer
no gas power leads etc.

That was my thoughts with the brads not been.ideal for the job ... well put together !! Haha
Could do it all by hand, but it's a time saver with gun .. and it's something il need in the future down the line.

first fix 49-52mm threaded galvanised nails without exception.

Hammer and nail them if you can do a 10ft bay in less than 4 1/2 mins by that method.

I have seen Mark Naseby do 16 bays in 4 hours with a hammer and nails,and still there
