will it be ok if i keep it covered also should i add a frost proofer to the laying course?
also whats the best 2 part jointing compound to use when its cold?
thanks in advance.

Use a frostproofer sparingly in the bedding mortar
The good 2-part resin mortars all need 3°C and rising as a minimum, but the jointing can wait until we have a couple of warmer days, if necessary. THe VDW 850+ is, IMHO, the best 2-part mortar on the market just now - < Read More > - and by quite some way!
