The road lamp is still with the powder coater. I keep meaning to call in and collect but they are on a severely busy junction, with very restricted parking (you're supposed to park in the old church 300m up the lane, but I can't be arsed) and I keep thinking I'll do it next time, when it'll be quieter.....except it never bloody is!

That's a job for the xmas break, I reckon!

You want to lay off that land-bound paddling - either do it on a proper lake or sack it off!  :p

Your going to devalue it then. It will loose all of it's patina and character. Shame on you

haha nothing to do with 35 years of back breaking work :;):
its a reality check for me as good as I feel  (down to 14 stone now) the reality is I am 50 and need to curb  my enthusiasm a little bit,Like a lot of blokes i find it hard to let go of the practical side of things, the consultant has told me 6 weeks with zero strenuous activity, so at least this way I knock the first fortnight off at xmas . are you all good now Sean?
cheers LLL :)

John the rowing  certainly didnt help, but if you want to win stuff you have to try hard, the consultant said people get them doing arm wrestling, digging the garden its just a condition  that some get and some dont
trama-dolls and morphine cant wait Sean  :)
cheers LLL

This is what happens as we age....more and more bits fall off or stop working. And to think we couldn't wait to grow up!

I'm recently on a slow-release morphine patch with bonus peardrops as needed, so I daren't even have a drink this xmas. Instead, I shall devote my time to the inner workings of the new Brew Cabin which should be with us in a couple of months.  :D

Merry Christmas to all you stalwart Brew Cabin Irregulars!
